Publication Ethics
The International Journal of Advanced Medical and Scientific Research (IJAMSR) adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
1. Author Responsibilities
Originality & Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original and have not been published or submitted elsewhere. Proper citation of others’ work is mandatory.
Multiple Submissions: Simultaneous submission to more than one journal is considered unethical and will not be accepted.
Authorship: All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research. The inclusion of individuals without contribution, or the exclusion of contributors, is unacceptable.
Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the manuscript.
Corrections & Retractions: Authors are obliged to promptly notify the editor of significant errors and cooperate in issuing corrections or retractions.
2. Editorial Responsibilities
Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for deciding whether manuscripts are accepted, revised, or rejected, based on scholarly merit, originality, and relevance.
Fair Review: Editorial decisions are made without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or political beliefs.
Confidentiality: Editors and staff must maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
Conflicts of Interest: Editors must not use unpublished material for personal research without the author’s consent.
3. Reviewer Responsibilities
Double‑Blind Review: IJMPR follows a double‑blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity of both authors and reviewers.
Objectivity: Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts impartially, providing constructive feedback supported by evidence.
Confidentiality: Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential documents.
Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must decline assignments where conflicts exist and must not exploit unpublished data.
Evaluation Criteria: Manuscripts are assessed for originality, methodological rigour, clarity of presentation, relevance, and contribution to medical and pharmaceutical sciences.
4. Publisher Responsibilities
The publisher safeguards the integrity of the academic record and ensures compliance with ethical standards.
Measures are taken to prevent plagiarism, data fabrication, and unethical practices.
Corrections, clarifications, and retractions are issued promptly when necessary.
Retractions are clearly identified to maintain transparency for readers and indexing services.
5. Ethical Oversight
IJAMSR maintains strict policies against plagiarism, fraudulent data, and unethical publishing practices. The journal is committed to issuing corrections, clarifications, or retractions when required and to ensuring that commercial interests do not compromise academic integrity.
